Muffy stood in the middle of her quarters. She had spent the last two days putting it in order. The kitchen area was well stocked from the farm. She had a homemade quilt over her bed and a stack of 9 different pillows, some bolsters, some throw pillows, and some for sleeping on. Each had embroidered patterns of different flowers on the cases. And dead center was a teddy bear that had seen better days, but it was well loved.

In the living room, lamps had been put out to add a softer light when she wanted it and a false fireplace was against one bulkhead that would light and look like a real fire and give off heat but no smoke or ash. The couch had a cornflower blue cover on it and an hombre knitted throw blanket in mint green that was soft and warm thrown over the back of the couch. Two chairs were set up in a conversation group with the couch and had matching blue covers and peach colored throw pillows. A glass coffee table sat in the middle and had a few books on it that her family had written about their specialties.

She brewed herself a cup of chamomile tea and curled up in the corner of the couch and pulled the blanket over her lap and turned down the room temp so she could light the fire and watch the flames and relax a little. A tray of blueberry scones, clotted cream, and mixed berry preserves sat next to paper cups with vanilla creme biscuits. Muffy made a good tea party from the nibbles and teal, watching the flames dance in the fireplace.

Her bathroom had matching towel sets in sapphire blue with an emerald green bathmat and toilet seat cover. Track lighting was around the mirror to help her have better light to do her hair and make up. The shelves behind her were filled with hair products from blow dryers, curling irons, crimping irons, brushes, combs, and all sorts of hair decoration from hair ties to clips to bows and ribbons and sprays of silk flowers.

Over all, she was proud of her quarters and how nice they looked. And the final room was an office with a wooden desk with hidden drawers, a comfortable chair, file cabinets for hard copy and her personal computer. The office was utilitarian, all the shelves were lined with research and reference books. This was the work away from work and she did a lot of that.

However, for now, she was relaxing with a proper tea, fire, blanket, and her guilty pleasure, a novel by Jane Doe. She couldn’t remember where she had learned this, but Admiral Sylver was the novelist who went by Jane Doe and people who knew the Admiral couldn’t believe she could write such things. It was better than a wedding party on Betazed. And right now, Muffy was in a particularly good part and she felt herself become aroused, but kept it under tight control.

Then it was bed time and after a shower, she curled up in bed and fell asleep, cuddling the teddy bear. And the dreams were beyond belief.
